Nashville is not only the capital of (somtimes commercial shit-) country, but also the homebase for numerous singer-songwriters. In the line-up we'll be presenting the 17th of october, David Olney is the most well-known.
Our next guest will be Guitarwizz Sergio Webb, who has been David Oney's companion de route for the last couple of years. But he also released a solo record Long Green Hour in 2005. wether or not he'll make a solo appearance on our stage is unclear, however.
And then: 40 years in the business, 21 albums, covered by Emmylou Harris, Steve Earle, Johnny Cash and Linda Ronstadt, ladies and gentlemen: here's David Olney! He might be 60, but he's still going strong and can be ranked among the all time greatest. As did Townes Van Zandt, when asked who his favorite songwriters were: Mozart, Lightnin' Hopkins, Bob Dyland and ... David Olney! He never reached superstardom, but Olney doesn't care. He just likes to do things his own way, and that's how we like our artists. You'll be able to hear a pin drop...
The opening act will be the Antwerp based Wild Ox Moan, since Tommy Womack, who was previously anounced to open for Webb and Olney cancelled.
