Simple Brain (BE) / Colorblind (CH)

> Belgische indie en Zwitserse pracht

# # #

Simple Brain are a couple of Flemish young lads who sing and do their melancholic thing on guitar, banjo, piano, mandolin and upright bass. Having played along with Devendra Banhart and opening up for Dez Mona, the Low Lows, Vetiver and Rocky Votolato, the time is right for us to invite them.

Swiss band Colorblind produces beautiful pop songs, sweets song as can be heard on their first albm 'Under a Paper Moon'. The Mud brothers both played in several rock bands but then they decided to make a record together. They withdrew into a cabin in the Alps for a year together with bass player Blez Mab, until their record was finished. It didn't take them long to become a hit in their home country, and sales started booming in both France and Italy. Colorblind has been touring these countries ever since. 150.000 myspace hits prove their growing popularity. And now the record is available in the Benelux, and they're coming over for four FNAC-showcases and for a show at our club. A discovery to make for lovers of eg. Ryan Adams, Tim Buckley or Tom McRae.
