Tricycle (BE)

> jazz, world of folk?

# # #

2008 was the big break for Tuur Florizoone. He wrote the score for the succesful Belgian movie Aanrijding in Moscou, which won him an award during the World Sountrack Awards and a 'best soundtrack' nomination for the European Film Awards.

Together with double bass player Vincent Noiret and sax player Philippe Laloy, he has been operating under the name Tricycle for 9 years now. Their music is to be situated between jazz, world and folk, occasionally blending in pieces of musette, klezmer or chachacha. A sparkling combination of joy and tristesse, growing more and more popular in Belgium, France, Canada and even Kinshasa.
