Strawl (BQ/NL)

Strawl is an energetic and charismatic roots reggae singer, songwriter and composer.
Born as Curtis Arnaud and grown up in the ghetto of  the Caribbean Island St. Eustatius.
His first hit was recorded in Statia with the Rebels Band called Don’t Give It Up and reached number 3 in the the Caribbean Top charts. In the mean time he was also working with BlackstarLiner Band as a singer and bass player, opening concerts for Black Uhuru, Maxi priest and lucky Dube.
From there he moved to Holland where he was working with Out Of Many, Fourth Angel and different soundsystems and DJ’s like Mad Professor, United Sound and Fatal Sound with who he won the soundsystem battle in the Melkweg in Amsterdam.
He has been working with artist like Junior Kelly, Norrisman, Derajah, Kabaka Pyramid. He joined Ziggi Recardo on the Green Tour with the Cousins Band. His musical carrier brought him to places like Sweden, Germany, Belgium and France.
His main message is to defend human rights and justice, ghetto youths livety and peace and love for the world.
