Up High Collective (BE)

Up High Collective made a name for themselves with their 7” Blend that made it to a compilation by Lefto for Brownswood. In the years that followed they released several solo-EPs and founded Tangram Records. The EPs were accompanied by extensive live, DJ and beat-set tours. Over the years they played at parties by Boiler Room, Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival and 22Tracks in cities like London, Amsterdam, Vienna, Rotterdam, Paris and Brussels. This has gained them support from several colleagues like Lefto, Kutmah, Gaslamp Killer, Om Unit, House Shoes, Anthony Valadez, San Soda...

After releasing the stunning Phonemica EP last February and recently honoring Phife Dawg with their Linden Blvd Bootleg tribute, Up High Collective returns with this brand new Monomade EP.

Without planning to release a series, Up High Collective's Monomade EP can be seen as the logical follow-up to their previously released Kineticuts and Phonemica EPs. You can call the tracks simple yet effective but that wouldn't do this enough justice. Describing it as a nomad’s trip trough the clusters in life and discovering the harshness of heavy industries probably gives you a better idea of the Up High Collective universe. But that might be a bit much. Hey, you're in for an intense musical journey to say the least...
