Founded in 2010 under the driving force of the Swiss pianist Florian Favre, this trio quickly received notable attention due to the intensity emanating from its performances. “We have rarely seen so many gestures and such communicative pleasure abound on stage” (F.B.). After a first album, t’inquiète pas, ça va aller (2013/Anuk records), which received noteworthy praise in the international press, a second album entitled Ur will be released in April under the prestigious Berlin record label, Traumton.

Written by the trio’s leader, the compositions are not only refined, intense, and imprinted with a mastered minimalism, they demonstrate a will to transverse stylistic barriers. The musicality and agility of his talented accomplices, Manu Hagmann (b) and Arthur Hnatek (dr), allow the trio to exploit a rich palette of nuances which offers the opportunity for remarkable interactions.
The trio was selected/chosen for Jazzahead 2015 and has already performed at festivals such as the Cully Jazz Festival, Jazz Festival Freiburg (GE), Bern Winterjazzfestival, Langnau Jazz nights and the International  Week in Graz (AT).
